As of June 1 2019, these are the current by-laws for the Hot Springs Amateur Radio Club. In order to keep these by-laws relevant in modern times, they must undergo a periodic assessment and as a result, may need to have some changes.
If a section(s) of the by-laws needs reworded, deleted or completely rewritten, the suggested changes are proposed by the Board of Directors as it is their duty to ensure that the club by-laws stay relevant with the times.
All proposed changes to the club by-laws must be provided to the club membership prior to the annual meeting held in October. This proposal is distributed to the membership on or before the September meeting. The membership is encouraged to review these proposed changes. Any revisions to the changes, questions, comments or concerns will be reviewed at the October meeting, at which time all proposed changes will be voted on by club members in good standing (current on dues).
The focus of the Board of Directors during the 2019 fiscal year has been to update these by-laws. As a result of this ongoing work, you will notice sections of the by-laws printed in different colors.
