October is election month for club officers and certain members of the Board of Directors (BoD).

The Nominating Commitee has carefully reviewed each member and selected a person for each position.

It is the recommendation of the Nominating Commitee to retain the current club officers and Board of Directors.

The floor will be open for nominations prior to voting should you wish to nominate somebody else for the positions.

All officer positions and Phil's BoD position are up for election this year.

You must have your dues paid in full BEFORE you can vote in this election......so please bring your $20 bill to the meeting.

We will be voting on the proposed changes to the Club By-laws. You can read these proposed changes by clicking on the "BY-LAWS" tab at the top of this website.

Workday on Mount Coolidge Repeater

On June 19th, club members once again made the trek up the mountain to work on the Mount Coolidge repeater that has been suffering from a desense issue periodically over the past couple years.

The original hardline was replaced with LMR-400 coax last year but was later discovered that type of coax does not handle a high RF environment very well.

Pete (WN6QJN) order new connectors to repair the hardline that was removed and once that was done, he rallied the troops for another workday.

Pete (WN6QJN), Phil (WØFUI), Ernie (KEØDQU) and Arelen (KD5EHH) headed up the mountain to install the repaired hardline.

The repair seems to have helped the desense issue and everybody is encouraged to give the repeater a try. If you hear any anomalies, please report them by dropping an email to
