The Hot Springs Amateur Radio Club is being recognized by the national association for amateur radio in the US, the Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL) located in Newington, CT, for being a continuous 60 year affiliated radio member club. A member of the ARRL board and/ or the Dakota Division Director will attend our next club meeting on March 8, 2022 at 6:30 PM in Hot Springs to present a plaque to the club marking the achievement. The community is invited.
Amateur Radio is an important volunteer community communications service in circumstances where regular communication channels are inoperable or simply not available as well as being a fun hobby.
